Danny holds Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture and Master of Business Administration degrees. He has worked at companies ranging from small start-ups to Fortune 500 companies, and is currently working as a real estate broker.
Alana and Danny started on their Emergency Preparedness journey when Alana was asked to serve as a volunteer coordinator for their church congregation of about 200 people. It was during that time that she was inspired to create a method of preparing for emergencies one small logical step at a time. With help from Randall Lutz of the Orange County Emergency Preparedness committee, she was able to further develop the concept into The Power of Three program that is now taught worldwide.

With the exception of the item above, the videos on this website were created by professional writers, producers, public speakers, videographers, and editors. These individuals and the amateur actors all donated their time in creating these training tools.
Alana and Danny have organized numerous regional preparedness conferences and given presentations to city councils, city preparedness fairs, community groups and congregations.
Alana and Danny have been married for 22 years and reside in Orange County, California with their six youngest children, a dog, a cat, and four bunnies.
